Oh man, how prescient our timing of the Twinkie Challenge has panned out. With the company under bankruptcy, a word of wars has emerged over the demise of Hostess and of course, the esteemed brand. It was the union’s fault for not budging on wages. It was the executives’ fault for taking huge pay raises. Heck it was Obama’s fault--good thing this meltdown happened before the election. Well, as we enter the second week of our Twinkie Challenge, the little sponge cakes with mystery creme filling are doing just fine. Let’s see if they last until the Twinkie brand is reborn.
