Tripling My Output on Triple Pundit

Jul 14, 2010 No Comments by
I know, for months I have been saying that I was winding down my posts on GGP to 3 or so a week.  Well, it has finally happened.  Starting this month, I have committed to writing for Triple Pundit three times a day.

It has been a great opportunity.  I never thought I would be a freelance blogger or journalist, and I will not be forever.  At some point that business development position in the technology sector, hopefully with an international component, will work out.  In the meantime, however, expect three posts from me to appear on Triple Pundit around 2:00 a.m. in the morning Pacific Time.

I have to say that the editors at Triple Pundit are fantastic.  I have a wide range of topics from which to choose—generally I focus on corporate social responsibility, renewable energy, and consumer goods.

Small firms, non-profits, and online media sites approach me all the time to work for them.  Work, that is, with quotes around that word.  One issue I have with the “green economy,” and why I am no longer aggressively seeking employment in that sector (a broad description, to say the least), is because everyone wants to collaborate, or covets content.  But Triple Pundit is not only covering the green economy, they are part of it.  They pay.  So I write for them.

Eventually I will work full-time again, hopefully 12-14 hours a day, so my writing will wind down.  But it’s a relationship that I plan on keeping for a long time, even if I wind down to a few times a week, the pace at which I kept when I started in March.

So please bookmark Triple Pundit, and keep up with other writers like the talented BC Upham, thoughtful Jen Boynton, and its hard-working and accomplished editor, Nick Aster.  They have put together great content, and I am honored to be a small part of it.
