When you are Donald Trump, the rules apply to everyone else than you. The Democratic Party donor, eminent domain lover, made-in-China clothing manufacturer, gambling-loving, boot straps-already-given joke candidate took a beating last night at the hands of Seth Meyers.
The 2011 White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington DC is a century-old tradition. The press and prez are supposed to put aside their differences. The SNL comedian Meyers only did what everyone else has done year after year: roast and roast some more. Mr. Trump, however, clearly could not take the joke, even though his weeks of railing against President Obama’s birth and now academic record made him open to Meyers’ delicious satire.
