Sort of--at the time this was written the Montenegro’s government Twitter handle, @MeGovernment, is not up and running.  Nevertheless, this challenged yet stunning nation of 600,000 people is taking a step towards greater inclusion and transparency.

Montenegro’s government has had its challenges in the past, and new PM Igor Luksic has his work cut out for him.  Let’s see if he and his coalition will really offer the “straight talk” that Montenegrins deserve.  Once the Twitter handle is running, the government tweeter will use the hash tag #Montenegro.

Got ideas how to get the economy running, what policies to implement, mail not getting there on time, or have suggestions as to how to improve the quality life in Montenegro?  Start Tweeting!

In any event, we are a huge fan of Montenegro, a jewel not to be missed while visiting the Balkans.
