Our love affair with Pinterest was fleeting, but Instagram has proven to be a friend to GreenGoPost.com. At first we were not thrilled with yet another social media company that insists that any content you post on its service is free for that same firm to use unfettered, but we doubt that will be any large issue in the big scheme of things.

Therefore, Leon Kaye and GreenGoPost.com have become Instagram fiends and we would love it if you would follow us: we are under greengopost. We are not doing too many of those Polaroid-esque shots except for gratuitous shots of Cosmo. But we will share shots of the San Joaquin Valley, the evolution of the Fig Garden Project and events to which we are invited. Food shots, of course, will reign supreme as well. Speaking of which, if you live in Fresno, you have to follow fresnobites.

The beauty of Instagram is the ability to make a statement visually and share instantly Designers including Christian Siriano have used the smartphone app to share the creative process with their fans. And naturally, the ability to cross post on Twitter, Facebook and Flickr makes it easy to share a road trip or a home project with friends and family. And yes, the retro effects you can apply to the photos are wonderful; though if you are old enough to be in such photos, those features, alas, are not so important.

So whether you are on a tablet or smartphone, please follow us and of course, we’ll follow you back! You can also watch for the feeds on Leon Kaye’s Twitter feed.

Search for us: our handle is greengopost.
