I have not been too caught up in the holiday shopping craze, especially since I am doing mostly DIY projects for Christmas. But I admit I do my fair bit of shopping online, and was sucked into Cyber Monday last week. Instead of dealing with the Black Friday crowds, the few things I needed to purchase for the holiday gift list could wait until the Internet madness. Well, that morning, as I was walking my dog along our usual route in Fig Garden Village, a Starbucks employee alerted me to the camera, and then I was stopped by Amanda Venegas of ABC 30 here in Fresno. Curious to see how shoppers in the San Joaquin Valley were approaching shopping this year, Ms. Venegas actually had a tough time finding someone who would cooperate until she and her cameraman spent some time with me asking some questions. As someone who cannot bear the crowds of the holiday season, I shop on the Internet more than the sustainability mafia would find palatable. Anyway, here is the interview:
