Leon Kaye took GreenGoPost on the road from January 24 to February 26, 2012. Basing himself in Dubai, he took side trips to Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman. Mr. Kaye had created enormous buzz before his trip over naming Doha as an emerging sustainable city, and to that end, met many fascinating people within this emerging region of importance. He is also interested in working with the GCC region in a sustainability and CSR-focused communications and strategic implementation role.

Mr. Kaye’s focus during this trip was on exploring opportunities working within multinationals and state owned companies, particularly on sustainability initiatives. With his increased attention on the Middle East, he met many sustainability and CSR (corporate social responsibility) professionals and highlighted their work on the publications with which Leon works.

He will visit the region again soon, so please contact him if you are interested in meeting with him and sharing your experience working on sustainability, clean energy and social enterprise in the Middle East. He looks forward to hearing from you. Conversations over strong tea in Manama, Doha and the Emirates are in order!
