Minneapolis-based Bike Fixtation offers bright red vending machines that would benefit all bicycling enthusiasts in a pinch.  While serious bicyclists tend to keep handy repair kits on them, most of us do not, and hence there is the problem--one flat tire or tweaked chain and the bike ride is over.

Bike Fixtation’s vending machines not only offers the parts (and snacks for those who are suddenly peckish), but also provides a bike mount and tools that make it easy to repair or swap out that part in order to allow bikers to continue their journey.

Right now Bike Fixtation has only two locations in Minneapolis--and while vending machines on isolated stretches of bike paths would be tough for anyone to justify, their vending machines would be perfect in transit centers.  The company also provides customized products for specific bicycle infrastructure projects.
