Well the holiday season already seems so long ago, and in fact, I am taking my Christmas tree down today, but today is Armenian Christmas and so we take another opportunity to wish our readers the best for a wonderful 2013.

It is always easy to focus on the bad news, but I feel optimistic about where we are going with sustainability and corporate social responsibility. More companies are taking sustainability seriously, consumers are slowly starting to change their ways, and amazing changes are going on in regions as diverse as Latin America and the Middle East. And in the San Joaquin Valley, which I now call home, developments in water technology and yes, a renewed push to bring back downtown Fresno are again reasons why I am excited about making my home here.

So whether you celebrate Christmas today, celebrate it on December 25, or in fact, not at all, we appreciate your support during this transition. Feel free to comment as always on Twitter.
