Angell Candy Bars, The Perfect Earth Day Treat and GGP Partner

If you are going to do something healthful or beneficial for Earth Day, nosh on a retro Angell Organic Candy Bar.

GreenGoPost.com is excited to partner with Angell Organic Candy Bars through the end of May.  I have featured the delicious fair trade, gluten-free, 100% organic goodies on Triple Pundit and here at GGP.  Christopher and Suzanne Angell are onto something exciting: chocolate that is about as healthy you can get, in the shape and with the taste of those wonderful candy bars of our parents’ youth.

For now the only option is to check out Angell’s store locator to see where they are near you.  In Los Angeles, Erewhon Natural Foods on Beverly sells them; they are worth a drive, or in New York, a subway ride to score a few!  Amazon is skittish about shipping chocolate in the summer--later this year you can buy them by the boxful.

I am not keen on Earth Day for several reasons (PR spamming one of them), but this dynamic couple and their company are more than worth a shout out.  This week I have been bombarded by countless public relations folks to write about their client or event.  Most are crassly self-promoting with little redeeming value--others are silly--many are obnoxious.  Companies like Angell and Gypsy Tea, however, are admirable because they work hard to make a difference in their local communities and abroad as well.

The Dark Angell is my favorite; white chocolate fans will dig the Snow Angell--all are fantastic.

To candy lovers Christopher and Suzanne Angell, this Earth Day Greeting is for you.  We are glad to have you as a featured partner.
